Bruce Smith Obituary

Bruce Henry Smith HUNTERSVILLE - Bruce Henry Smith, 79, of Huntersville, died November 30, 2013, at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on June 7, 1934, in Rowan County to the late Mack and Madre Smith. He was married for 51 years to the late Julia Teal Smith and was a devoted husband father, and friend whose joyous faith and sacrificial love will be sorely missed. He was a member of SouthLake Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his daughter, Ginger Mandujano and husband, Mario, of China Grove; sons, Whit Smith of China Grove, Winston Smith and wife, Kim, of Ft. Washington, PA; grandchildren, Carrie (and husband Brandon) Hamby, Gresham Smith, Sydney Smith, Zachary Smith, and Charlotte Smith. Memorials may be made to SouthLake Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 13820 Hagers Ferry Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. A reception and visitation will be held from 10-12:00 Saturday in the community room of James Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 7, at James Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Wade Malloy, Rev. Adam Mumpower and Winston Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Mr.Smith. I hadn't known you long but in the short time that I have I know you are a good man that was loved by a lot of people. You will be missed by many. You will forever be in all our hearts...
