My Mom My Hero!
I love you so much and I look forward to the time when I will get to see you on the other side. I know you are with your family members enjoying all your time with them catching up. I know you are proud of all of us and especially Dad. He has done well with your loss. He grieves every day and I know that with us being in the house he will get through this.
I would like to say I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. I did not want you to go that day, but I know you are in heaven rejoicing. Justin took it kind of hard but you knew he would. He is strong and again he will survive the loss of his grandmother. When I say again, the day she told him of her cancer he lost it and said that he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could. He would come down to the house and put his arms around her and rub her ear, like he always did. He would tell her and his paw paw that he loved them each and every day. I know with this being his senior year in high school that he would like for her to be there. She told him on Sunday 1/25/09 that she would not be around for his graduation. He cried and accepted that she was ready to go home and meet our Saviour.

How saddened Vicki and I are to learn of Cecil's passing. Since we moved to Texas twenty years ago, she has called me every year on my birthday; we always know from the Caller ID in North Carolina that 'It's Cecil!".

You know she was a special person and we had a special relationship for those years in Charlotte where she put up with me and the many long days and weeks, keeping me out of trouble in so many ways. We still talk about her cooking, especially the birthday cakes, and the birthday visit she arranged for me at the Charlotte Fire Department training grounds.

Our best to James and all the family at this time of loss. She has gone to a better place where we shall see her again.
