Charles Bones Obituary
July 9, 1958 - October 31, 2023
Charlotte, North Carolina - Charles Lawrence Bones went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1958, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Charles Eldred Bones, III and Catherine Nicholson Bones.
Charles was a University of South Carolina graduate and had an extensive career in the benefit business. He loved serving others in every capacity.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Steele Bones; his two daughters, Mary Catherine Bones and Laura Elizabeth Bones; and his sister, Connie Bones.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023, at his home church Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church, 3326 Archdale Dr., Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in memory of Charles to Ligonier Ministries, ligonier.org or the Mercy Ministry at Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church, sovereigngrace.org.

To the members of Charlie's Family ~
Charlie was a member of Charlotte Rotary and he regularly shared his great ideas and sense of humor with us. He also shared his heart, volunteering and serving on many of our committees to help others in need. He will be missed by all of us and I send you my deepest sympathy on your huge loss.

God has special mansions for men like Charlie Bones. He lived his life as an example for all of us to follow. He loved his Lord and Savior. I´m grateful, one day we will meet again.
