Claire Graves Obituary
Claire was a high school French teacher for 26 years at La Plata High School, Northpoint High School, Piccowaxen Middle School, and John Hanson Middle School. She was also the owner/operator of the Town Mouse Market and Cafe in La Plata, Maryland. She was also a member of the Healing Place Church in Waldorf, Maryland.
She was the daughter of Joseph Mitchell and Claudia Odem Mitchell. She was survived by her husband of 33 years, William "Rocky" Graves; her daughters, Amy Elizabeth Bayard and husband Jed and Kathrine Celene Graves; her brother, Stephen Mitchell; her sisters, Jayne Mitchell Weinhofer and Jody Davison; and her grandchild, Hanna Grace Bayard.
Friends received on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment at a later date.
Memorials in Claire's name may be sent to Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603.

It is almost the anniversary of your death & new life with Jesus. I miss you so much! I see you in the faces of other people sometimes. Just yesterday at work I saw a girl from a profile view who looked just like you when you were about 23 years old. I hope heaven is all it's cracked up to be. Love you Sis!!
