We are just hearing of the passing of Dan. So many good memories of Dan and the Young Life meetings. Not the least of which he officiated at our wedding June 14, 1969. You did a great job, Dan, as we celebrate our 53rd anniversary with our two sons and four grandsons. Thanks be to Dan for his spirit and for his life.

I was sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was my Young Life leader when I went to RJ Reynolds High School in the sixties and is the reason that I have been a follower of Christ ever since. I also credit him for being the reason that my children became involved in Young Life and for being the Christians they are today.
His love and caring for people is something that I will always treasure. I connected with him each year on his birthday, and when I was unable to reach him this year, I feared the worst. I will miss him dearly and will always treasure his friendship and inspiration

Dan was my inspiration for volunteering as Young Life leader in Shelby for 30 years. Many Shelby teenagers were won to Christ through his Love.

I remember Dan from Young Life in Greensboro in high school. Dan was a very charismatic, inspiring and caring individual to the high school students and Young Life. I have thought of him often. I am sure he led many a student to Christ. What a wonderful individual. Dan led by example just as Jesus did "I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do"(John17:4)

Komarnicki family, sorry to read of your loss. Grew up with Danny and Tommy in Woodmere Park in Greensboro 1960's. Still have a copy of Teenagers are People. Remember Dan as a great father and inspiration.
