To My Beautiful Sister Dawn, I am still so lost with out you here, the pieces of my heart have not mended!People lied when they said "time heals" ,it only makes it worse,I have never gone this log without talking to you on the phone...now I have to settle for my daily journals to you and to God...that's all I have left...To anyone who truley didn't know you they lost out on a very special friend.I think about you everyday and often wonder "why". But I guess I won't have that answer until I go to Heaven...So for now I am digging for peace in my soul and so far it hasn't happened.. You were such an important person in my life ..you played so many different role models for me growing up,you always had my back and looked out for me!!!I am definately soooo lost and soooo sad you are gone.. I pray that the ones who have been blessed to have been friends with you will remember you always.. I still think of you when I see a dragonfly remebering the signifigance of their life and why they're were so many of them that day at the hospital,I recently found another meaning of their presence."A sacred bird capable of acting as an intermediary bewteen people(wow that's you!)also and the Blue Sky...Space where the Father dwells(God). The dragonfly was also reflective of a force greater than us... and people had sought to draw them close to themselves that it might extend a mantle of protection. So if you know my sister Dawn ..don't forget to think of her when you see a dragonfly... I feel she is watching over us all ...protecting us still....I Love you Dawn ,I will never let baby Gav forget you , he will always remeber your face, your smile, your beauty ,your kindness...Love always Dean-na

Dear Donnie & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am in total shock as finding out just tonight. Dawn was such a loving caring true friend and loved her family. I met Dawn in orientation at Wuesthoff 8yrs ago worked together on 2 south. She was there for me when my mother passed & recently in May of this yr when my father passed. I shared some great memories with her and Donnie with friends recently on the boat with my kids. I'll never forget when my older son who was about 7 or so said wow she's pretty, that she is and a beautiful Angel looking over us all. He is now 13. She will always be a great inspiration to be what you can be with your dreams that is nursing.
My prayers are with you and your son Gavin & Family. Time will ease the pain but her love will live on.
Sincerly,
Maureen Pace Rockledge, Fl

I first met Dawn four years ago when she helped my daughter Natalie fight her way to health as a newborn. Natalie was in the NICU for 10 days. Dawn encouraged me and took wonderful care of my daughter. She let me change her, feed her and more for the first time. Each time I would be scared but she would tell me to go on, I was her mommy. After that when I saw her she was always warm and bubbly. I am so sorry for your loss. My family will pray for you and yours. You have our deepest sympathies and love.
