Donald Hamilton Obituary
An avid runner, devoted reader, and lover of classical music, Don was known for his curiosity, humor, and passion for history and aviation. He valued good conversation and had a gift for teaching and sharing wisdom.
After his military career, Don settled in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1986, where he built a life centered on family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha; his children Chris (Holley), Eryck (Kirstan), Matt (Traci), and Helen; his grandchildren Patrick, Maggie, Gracen, Hayes, Westphal, Solomon, Campbell, and Madeleine Vial; and his brothers Ronald (Sandra), Kenneth (Faye), and Scott (Stephanie).
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him. Boots and saddles, Big D; until we meet again.
Mass Friday, December 5th at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel (Charlotte); burial at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden (Mint Hill).

Our Dearest, Marsha, Chris, Erik, Matt and Helen.
Faye and I are so very sadden and heartbroken on the loss of your family husband, Dad and Grandfather.
As Donald´s Brother there is a hole in my heart that can´t be filled with the loss of Don.
I´m glad Don is now out of pain and at peace, Flying High and resting after a well lived life.
We love you guys.
