October 28, 2025
Ashville, North Carolina - Mr. Donald LeVert Stewart Jr., 70 of Asheville (formerly of Charlotte) died on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. A funeral service will be held Friday November 7, 2025 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Hart Funeral Service; the family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Mr. Stewart will be interred at Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Hart Funeral Service of Asheville is serving the Stewart family. A memorial service will also be held in Charlotte at a later date.
