Don built my first home in Tega Cay, introducing us to all of the amenities in a beautiful home with an affordable price. He was right there when Hugo the hurricane hit, picking up the debris. There was no damage to my home. There's never going to be another builder like Don. God bless him and his family.

I recently learned of Don's passing. He was a great man who taught me everything I know about selling Amway. We spent many hours at his house in NH, drinking Kool Aid with him telling me how to squeeze every nickel out of anyone willing to listen about the Business. His advice of books and tapes still resonant with me today. I still have cases of soap, light bulbs and laundry detergent he said I should buy, 25 years later. His positive attitude rubbed off so much it got me a promotion to Sales Manager at Wilmington Ford. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

My life is so much better because of Mr. Storms. He set such a great example in everything he did I couldn't help but be a better person. Thank you for the always sound advice and for being a man who truly cared. You touched my life in such a positive way, when nobody else could. I will never forget you Don.

Don had a huge positive impact on my life through my 20's, 30's and 40's. Even greater was his impact on thousands of others. He always cared and was a solid example for others. I still think about the many hours of personal time spent with Don, getting not only business building advice, but also advice for daily living. Magic moment was when he asked me if I would drive his Bentley (alone) from his home in Naples, FL to his home in Waxhaw, NC. What he didn't know is that I drove it to our house in Cape Coral, FL first, my 3 sons and I waxed it, and then I hit the road. What a trip that was! Arrived, stayed overnight at his home and took a flight back to FL next day. Profound Don Storms saying/teaching I learned in my 20's that I still teach others today at 63: "I'm looking for a person that is willing to get this task done. Can I count on you? Can I forget about it?" That stuck with me forever. To commit to something, set it in concrete and do it, so others can count on you, period. Be a man of your word. My best to the entire Storms family who also are a class act. It was great growing up with many of Don and Ruth's kids and their spouses for many years. Thanks, Don!

Just found out about one of my mentors in business passed early part of this month. I remember him when would come to Columbus for meetings. At that time I was new in the business. And was working at freight company that transported cancelled checks around the country. Mr Storms was out in the parking a lot talking . I walked up to and introduced my self to hima as one of his downlines. After that evertime he saw me at conference or meeting he remember me or gave me a acknowledgement. That a true leadership that were missing today every. To the Storms family my heart felt condolences for your lost. RIP Mr Storms you carried your burdens well!!!

Donald shared the memories of his childhood and I am glad that I was able to hear them. I am appreciative that he was a proper gentleman and sincere Christian man. I will miss him at the family gatherings.

Donald will be missed. Our family has only known him since he married Diane. He was so kind to her and was always a gentleman and a blessing. My most treasured memories will be how he loved going to church and our talks about the sermon. Whenever he prayed it was thoughtful and compassionate. He brought happiness to our family and for that I will always be grateful.
