Doris Sherrill Obituary
Born on February 16, 1931 in Rutherford County she was a daughter of the late George Avery and Eula Mae Jenkins Hinson. Mrs. Sherrill was a retired seamstress at Draymore Manufacturing Company.
She is survived by her husband Bob G. Sherrill; son, Mike Sherrill and wife Cathy of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Susan G. Newton also of Mooresville, NC; brother, Jerry D. Hinson and wife Annette of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Craig Sherrill, Michael G. Sherrill, Jr., and Stephanie Sherrill; and special grandchildren, P.J. Smart, Alexis Johnson, Dallas Arbagast and Danielle Arbagast.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal D. Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2002 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 525 S. Broad St., Mooresville, NC 28115.
