I grew up with Ms. Rodgers' definitive recording of ANYTHING GOES.
Although I never had the privledge of seeing her perform, I will remain eternally grateful that I have been able to, and will continue to enjoy her enormous talent.
I send my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Eileen Rodgers will never be forgotten in the memories of audiences fortunate to have seen her. Her unique talent thrilled audiences in Tenderloin and Anything Goes and I will always treasure my memories of her. Rest in peace.

I am a big fan of Eileen Rodgers' work and am so sad to hear of her passing. Her warm, saucy, distinctive voice is filling my head as I type this. She was one of a kind.

We will always remember the warm welcome we Brits received from Eileen and Bill - especially on our first 4th July celebration. Mostly we will remember the amazing privilege of hearing Eileen sing on a warm summer's evening on Lake Norman - God bless her and her family - she will be greatly missed by the Lake people.

I love Eileen and Bill very much. I am going to miss Eileen terribly. I was Eileen's hair stylist for 5 years and I so enjoyed seeing her every month. She was very special and we had great laughs. She always told me about her grandkids, her sons and she was very proud of them. Eileen was so funny and beautiful; we laughed the whole time she was in the shop... I love you, Eileen!!!!

I have known Eileen and Bill for only a short 2 years. I am their next door neighbor. Eileen was a very special friend to me. She always had a cheerful personality, and made me feel right at home in my new neighborhood. I looked forward to seeing her, every day. I will miss her wonderful smile and general friendliness. She will always have a special place in my heart!!!

Greg McCoy has been friends with Bill since the NC State years and has known the Thompson family since that time. Greg and I are very sorry for your loss. I lost my father in April and it is a tough thing to go through. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was not aware that she lived in the area. I still remember her wonderful song "Miracle of Love" from some 47 years ago.
