Ella Tutterow Obituary

Ella Angeline Shore Tutterow MOCKSVILLE Mrs. Ella Angeline Shore Tutterow, 88, of Brookstone Terrace in Clem-mons, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born May 29, 1924, in Yadkin County to the late James Blaine and Ella Hoots Tutterow. She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church in Mocksville where she was involved in various activities of the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Grady Lester Tutterow; a sister, Jeannette Shore and six brothers, Luther, Rev. J.C., Clyde, F.B., Thomas and Henry Shore. Survivors include a daughter, Annette Tutterow of Charlotte; a son, Grady L. Tutterow (Linda Bryant) of Mocksville; a grandson, Ian Leonard and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, at Bear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Buckner and Rev. Greg McEwen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. They request that memorials be considered for Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3190 US Hwy 601 North, Mocksville, NC 27028. They also would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Brookstone Terrace, Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and Forsyth Medical Center for their care and concern shown to Mrs. Tutterow and her family. Eaton Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Tutterow.
