Eloise Clement Obituary

Eloise R. Clement
Mrs. Clement, 85, of Charlotte, died Tuesday November 2, 2004 at White Oak Manor.
Memorial services in celebration of her life will be held at 10 AM Saturday at St. John's Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Richard Kremer and the Reverend Dr. J. Derek Harbin officiating. Her family will receive friends following the service. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park will be private.
Mrs. Clement was born September 27, 1919 in Hoffman, NC to the late William and Ella Robertson. She had worked for Chadbourn Hosiery and retired from Carolinas Medical Center in 1986. One of God's faithful servants, she lived her life in service to others. Her strong faith helped her to overcome many challenges of life with style and grace. She was the eternal optimist, a true blessing to all who knew her.
Mrs. Clement had an unwavering love for her church, her friends, and especially her family. She enjoyed sharing meals and making her signature specialties for her family, friends, or anyone in need. She was a cook beyond compare. During her life she never sought recognition for her deeds, she gave God the Glory and her thanks for the strength to accomplish them.
Mrs. Clement was predeceased by her husband, John Clement; her son, John R. Clement; and her brothers, William (Bill) Robertson and Roy Robertson and Clyde Robertson.
Her survivors include her daughter, Anna Moore and husband Bud, of Charlotte; her beloved grandchildren, Ryan Moore and Shelby Moore of Charlotte; her sisters, Nann Bryant of Hoffman, NC and Grace Bostick and husband Richard of Hoffman, NC.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of White Oak Manor for the kind and loving support given Mrs. Clement during her stay there, especially Angie Williams, Rose Rivers, Julie Tyson, Julie Adams, and Joanna Boyd.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be sent to St. John's Baptist Church, Fellowship Fund, 300 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte NC 28204.
Arrangements for the Clement family are in the care of Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, Weddington Chapel. An online guest book is available at heritagefuneral.net.

Anna & family, We are so sorry for your loss, but what a gain for Heaven. A. Eloise will be remembered for many gracious things she did, all of which were done with unconditional love. She was such a dear friend to mother and we will miss her deeply.

"Aunt Eloise" was very special to me and my family. Hope she and Mother are having a great time in Heaven catching up. I loved her like a second Mother.
