Eric Ray Loomis
CLOVER -- Mr. Loomis, age 26, went to be with our Lord October 13, 2004. Born March 3, 1978 at Ashtabula General Hospital, Ashtabula, OH.
Eric Ray Loomis was the son of Bruce and Charlotte Loomis of Clover, SC. He was a resident of Clover for the past 14 years. His interests and hobbies included fast cars, motorcycles, and general love of life by helping others.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Johnson; son, Dontai Harris; mother, Charlotte Loomis; father, Bruce Loomis; sisters, Laura Loomis of Clover, SC and Lisa King (Clifton King) of Blacksburg, SC; maternal grandparents are Mabel and Glenn Ray; paternal grandparents, Delta and Kenneth Loomis, each of whom reside in Ashtabula, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews; and special friends who enjoyed his interests were Randy Whitworth, Shane Hufton and Joe Hartness.
Calling hours will be observed 7 PM to 9 PM Sunday, October 17, 2004 at M. L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home, Clover, SC. The funeral will be held Monday, October 18, 2004 2 PM at the M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Clergy officiating will be Pastor Smith of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, York, SC. Interment will be at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Dontai Harris Education Fund, c/o Pamela Johnson, Clover Community Bank, 124 North Main Street, PO Box 69, Clover, SC 29710.
M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family.
