Fintan Mulligan Obituary

Fintan G. Mulligan
Mr. Mulligan, 44, of Charlotte, native of Naas Ireland, passed on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC 28104, on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 8451 Idlewild Road, Charlotte, NC with Reverend Patrick T. Hoare, Celebrant. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
Mr. Mulligan was born on December 2, 1965 in Ireland, son of Bridget Mulligan and the late Anthony Mulligan. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to all and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors in addition to his mother, Bridget Mulligan, include his loving wife and best friend, Corrine French Mulligan; his beloved daughters, Bridget and Quinn; brothers, Brendan and Oliver; and sisters, Deirdre and Colette. He was predeceased by a sister, Eileen Mulligan.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions for an Education Trust that has been set-up for Fintan's girls, Bridget and Quinn to the The Mulligan Family Trust, UBS Financial, 13024 Ballantyne Corp Pl, Suite 650, Charlotte, NC 28277.

Fintan truly was one of a kind. He would make you laugh, even during the most difficult of times. I remember the good times we shared, his infectious laugh, and his silly humor. He will be missed and will be forever remembered. My deepest condolences to his wife Corrine, and his two lovely girls.

I just heard the sad news of Fintan's passing tonight. It is difficult to express the depth of my sympathy for you, the girls and for your extended family.
