Frank DeRollo Obituary
Mr. DeRollo, 88, Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Frank was born on December 25, 1919 in Rome, Italy to Salvatore and Dina DeRollo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the Day Chapel at St. Matthew Catholic Church, celebrated by Monsignor John J. McSweeney. The family will receive family and friends for the hour prior to the Mass. Frank will be laid to rest in Naples, Florida next week following a service there.
Frank was the owner and operator of a successful Buick & Mazda dealership for many years where he enjoyed meeting many people. He had a passion for cooking, especially for large groups. Frank and his best friend, his wife, Jane, enjoyed travelling and spending time at Badin Lake with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Jane, his three grown children: Madeline, Frank and Victor DeRollo, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three step children and their families including Anne Miller and husband Stephen of Charlotte.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Frank's name to the Levine Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
