Gregory Goodson Obituary
Gregory, 16, of 4201 Waterford Valley Circle #514, Charlotte, died September 29, 2005.
Funeral is 12 noon Friday, October 7, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Herbert Rhederick officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemane Memorial Garden. Quiet Hour will begin at 11:00 AM Friday at the church, prior to the service.
Gregory was born in New Haven, CT, and was a student North Mecklenburg High School. He had attended school in Stratford, CT before moving to Charlotte in August 2004 and enrolling in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. He worked part time at Zaxby's and Red Robin Restaurants.
Survivors include his mother, Kyle V. Goodson; grandparents, Alfred and Maxine Goodson, all of Charlotte; great grandfathers, James A. Goodson of Bridgeport, CT and Howard Shelton of Georgia; aunt, Alicia M. Goodson of Bridgeport, CT; and aunt and uncle, Kelley (Richard) Mitchell of Charlotte.
Memorials may be sent to The Connecticut Post, 410 State St., Bridgeport, CT 06604.
Grier Funeral Service of Charlotte is in charge.
