ROCK HILL -- Miss Douglas, 87, of 1281 Mary Dale Lane died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Pruitt officiating. Burial will be private.
A native of Rock Hill, Miss Douglas was a daughter of the late William A. Douglas and the late Margaret Anderson Douglas. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and when she retired, she was a manager for Southern Bell in Charlotte.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William A Douglas, Jr. and George A. Douglas, Sr.
Miss Douglas is survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Douglas of Rock Hill; her nephew, George A. Douglas, Jr. and wife, Susan of Greenville, SC; her niece, Sarah Douglas Bedenbaugh and husband, Mike of Rock Hill; her great-nephew, George A. Douglas, III; and her great-nieces, Emily Taylor Douglas and Lucy Brockman Bedenbaugh.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of Mike and Sarah Bedenbaugh, 164 Sedgewood Drive, Rock Hill, SC.
