Henry McCaleb Obituary
'Mac'
Mr. McCaleb, 81, of Charlotte, passed away on May 14, 2005 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, NC. He was born on August 10, 1923 in Cookeville, Tennessee and was the son of the late Erasmus Hurst McCaleb and Effie Lola Gentry.
Mr. McCaleb was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Pacific during World War II. He was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN. While living in Charlotte he attended Landmark Baptist Church. Mr. McCaleb retired in 2004 from Securitas.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel. Burial will be in Cookeville, TN on Thursday, May 19, 2005.
He will be greatly missed by his long time friend, Nancy Long.
He was preceded in death by brother, Edward McCaleb and sister, Ella V. Estes.
