Jacqueline Wade Obituary
Mrs. Wade, 80, of Charlotte, NC, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Wade was born May 31, 1926 in Charlotte, to the late John Thompson and Annie Mae Davis. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bickett Leroy Wade in November 2006, following 64 years of marriage, and her son, Mr. Bickett Orlando Wade.
Mrs. Wade was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was well known in the community for her kind heart, love and care for others.
Mrs. Wade is survived by her daughters, Jevetta Bruton (Zachariah), Diane Johnson, Carolyn Jones, Anita Wade, Emily Wade, Jonie McCullough (Donnie), Chikina Wade and Elexis Wade, stepdaughter, Iris Cathy, and stepson, Vanda Cathy, all of Charlotte; a special nephew, Jerome Wade (Bonnie) of Atlanta, GA; 34 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 6 to 7 p.m. at A.L. Jinwright Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, February 19th at 1 p.m. at CN Jenkins Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The Wade Family wishes to express sincere appreciation to all relatives and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of your lost. I remember Mrs. Wade from my child hood days;always sitting on the porch smiling and speaking to everyone as they went up and down Dogwood Ave. She was such a precious jewel and will be greatly missed. May GOD continue to bless your family during your time of grief.
