James Rash Obituary
Born July 4, 1951, in Mecklenburg County, he was the son Virginia Connell Rash and the late Roger W. Rash.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Rash of the home; son, Grant Rash and wife Stacee of Hickory; daughter, Erin Tarr and husband Jesse of Charlotte; granddaughter, Reese Crawford Rash of Hickory; brothers, Donald "Ray" Rash and wife Kim of Port St. Lucie, Fl., William Rash and wife Sherree of Kannapolis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Willie Hargrave of Fernandina Beach, Fl., and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Heather Davis officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT. 06851 or Comprehensive Cancer Center, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, PO Box 571021, Winston-Salem, NC 27157-1021.
