Dear family of Bobby VanLeeuwen,

I just came from a dinner at which 11 women from St. Ambrose Elem. School gathered. One girl, Theresa Campitelli had Bobby's( as we knew him)death notice. I just want to express our deep sorrow upon hearing about our former classmate. He was well remembered and will be in our prayers always. Please accept our sincere sympathy upon the death of your loved one. May God's blessings be with you as you carry this burden of grief.

My condolences to your family, I am sorry for your loss. I am a cousin who only knew Bob when I was young. When my mom died, Margaret Virginia Bloom (VanLeeuwen), our families never kept in touch.

Again, I'm sorry.

Dear Roseanne and family of Bob,I just wanted to express to you what an inspiration and role model Bob was to me. Bob's faith and courage spoke volumes about him, even though his time was short he never showed any signs of doubt or bitterness. The weekend at Lutheridge last spring was a testimony to me of true faith of a man facing the unknown hand and hand with his Lord.
