Jan Vesely Obituary
'John'
Mr. Vesely, 61, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2005 at his home in Charlotte after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born August 8, 1943 in the Czech Republic, Mr. Vesely was a son of the late Josef and Marie Vesely and moved with his wife and children to the United States in 1992. Following graduation from high school, Mr. Vesely began a career in the textile machine industry. His hard work and expertise in the field took him to many countries around the world before settling in Charlotte ten years ago and employment as Service Manager with Trustfin USA.
He is survived by his wife, Marcela; one son, John; and three daughters, Marcela, Iva and Romana; as well as four grandchildren; and his best friend, Max, his canine companion.
Mr. Vesely's family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 8 at Hankins & Whittington Dilworth Chapel. Funeral services will be held in the Czech Republic.

Jan was instrumental in the success of the Hosiery Technology Center over the years. He was always kind, helpful and patient with our instructors and trainees. Jan did whatever it took to get the job done right. He was a true friend who will be missed greatly. Our deepest sympathy to Marcela and family.

Jan was such a great help to us when we bought out first Ange`s in getting them to running and training our technician. It was such a pleasure knowing Jan and working with him. Our deepest sympathy to Marcela and family.
