Janice Harmon Obituary
She was born on September 25, 1939 to the late John P. and Ruby (Muzzy) Jones.
Along with her parents, Mimi is preceded in death by her husband Roderick W. Harmon and her sisters Patsy Austin and Pauline Harmon.
Mimi is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-laws Wanda Brown Guskie (Kenny), Kristi Brown Vines (Randy) and Cindy Harmon Holevas (Gus). Her sister Sharon Mingus and husband Danny. Her cherished grandchildren Amanda Brown Callahan (Jamie), Elaine Holevas, Tommy Holevas, Chris Holevas, Katie Guskie and Teddy Holevas. Her adored great grandchildren Jay Lee and Jordan Callahan. Mimi has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who she loved dearly.
A visitation for friends will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. Memorial will follow.
The family would like to thank the angels of Lake Norman Hospice for the love, care and support they gave to Mimi and our family during her illness. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman.
Mimi always made everyone want to be their best and being around her made you a better person.

To a very special aunt and loving mother and wife. I feel privileged to say she was a big part of my life. The first time I met her I thought what a beautiful woman. Then after babysitting I really got to know her she was beautiful inside also. My prayers are with all her family. Please forgive for not being able to be there Wanda knows. I miss you girls.
