Janice J. Wallace Lannin
Janice Wallace Lannin, 78 years old, of Charlotte, lost her battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital, with family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, James K. Wallace of Charlotte; mother, Anna Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; and second husband, Jack Lannin of Charlotte.
Mrs. Lannin is survived by her three children, Craig Wallace of Blue Ridge, GA, Renee' W. Brown and her husband, David, of Charlotte, and Elizabeth W. Preininger and her husband, Michael, of Dublin, OH, and two stepdaughters, Tina Ferguson and husband, Paul, of Charlotte, and Lori Taylor and husband, Ronnie, of Mt. Gilead, NC. Janice has 14 beautiful grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, and Jeremy Wallace, Lindsay, Laura, Ryan and Dylan Brown, Katelyn, Austin and Matthew Preininger, Ann Marie and Paul 'Sandy' Ferguson, and Jacob and Nathan Ross. She was also blessed to have three great grandchildren, Makayla Brown, Ethan Danecki and Savannah Hurley.
A memorial service was held at Park Road Baptist Church Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 4:00 PM, with a family visitation following. Mrs. Lannin is to rest at the Park Road Baptist Columbarium.
