Janice Wagner Obituary
CHERAW -- Mrs. Wagner, age 53 died October 8, 2004 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston.
Born in Bedford, VA she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Gaynell Fulton Cundiff. She was a commercial artist and was formally employed with Moore's Department Stores. For many years she ran her own catering business, Special Affairs Catering and was well known for the specialty cakes she made . She was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Bedford Christian Church. She is survived by her husband Carl P. Wagner, Jr. of Cheraw. Two sons Carl P. Wagner , III of Florence, SC and Daniel B. Wagner of Cheraw.
One Brother Bernard R. Cundiff of Rising Sun, MD. Three Sisters Marilyn Patterson and Norma Jean Reid both of Bedford, VA and Judy Philo of Lakeland, FL. Funeral services will be held by the graveside Tuesday October 12, 2004 at 3:00 pm in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday October 11, 2004 from 7-9 pm at Norton Funeral Home is Cheraw. Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Wagner to the American heart Association 1506 Gumm Plaza Hwy 501 Myrtle Beach , SC 29577.

I want to offer my condolences to Janice’s family and friends. This might surprise people,but Janice and I talked a lot to each other and she always talked about her family and cooking. I could see the love she had for all of her family . A great mom and wife. That is why she was put on this earth. . Carl and his two sons, Carl Junior and Daniel, experienced that love daily. I remember you telling me, when you had those babies and you were holding them in your arms What love you felt for them. They were the fortunate ones, they had the joy of having you as a wife and mother. We all feel the pain of your passing . You will be sorely missed.
