When we joined St. Peter's ten years ago, Jack was one of the first people we met and were struck by his gentleness, good humor and his care for his fellow parishioners. He added quality to every gathering he attended and was one of a kind.

Jack was a close companion of my mother (Mary Griffin). They went out for breakfast every Saturday for years. Jack would join our family for holidays and birthdays when he was not off with his girls. It was fun to sit and talk to him about the educational system, genealogy, St. Peters and his family. Jack was one of the truly good people in the world; he was a warm, funny wonderful man that I will greatly miss.
