John was my guidance counselor when i was at Jefferson Junior High School in Columbia Missouri . He was a very caring man . He was very helpful to me at a confusing time in my life . I was a guidance counselor for over thirty years thanks to the influence of people like him and Eliot Battle . May he rest in peace

When we joined St. Peter's ten years ago, Jack was one of the first people we met and were struck by his gentleness, good humor and his care for his fellow parishioners. He added quality to every gathering he attended and was one of a kind.

Jack always had a big smile. He was kind. He was gentle. He was a leader in the truest sense. CPCC will miss his involvement. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I worked with Jack at CPCC for many years. He was one of the best administrators I have ever known. His talents and thoughtfulness in dealing with people were outstanding.

Jack was a close companion of my mother (Mary Griffin). They went out for breakfast every Saturday for years. Jack would join our family for holidays and birthdays when he was not off with his girls. It was fun to sit and talk to him about the educational system, genealogy, St. Peters and his family. Jack was one of the truly good people in the world; he was a warm, funny wonderful man that I will greatly miss.
