On behalf of the numerous assistant golf professionals that had the pleasure of working at Carmel CC over the many years I say Thank You for touching and shaping all of us into the men and women we are today. I can only smile when I realize the next time we see each other, you will already have the largest tournament and purse in heaven.

God rest your soul.

I met Mr. Crane almost 10 years ago when I started working at Carmel County Club in the golf shop. I admired him from the start with his humor and straight forwardness. He made me feel Carmel was my home. I will always cherish all my memories of him. I will miss him very much. Mary Artello

It was a true pleasure to work with Mr. Crane. I marveled daily at the wisdom he shared with and dedication he had for his customers. Mr. Crane set an example of God first, others second and yourself last, a lesson in priorities we could all benefit from. He was a true southern gentleman.

May God be with his family as they celebrate his life. I look forward visiting with Mr. Crane in Heaven.

Mr. Crane was truly a Southern gentleman. My business relationship with him was warm, genuine, and rewarding. His hospitality was first-class. I'll always cherish the memories, especially the day our team won the golf match largely due to my 60 ft. chip shot that went in the cup by accident. I've never seen an 80 yr. old man jump so high in the air! We'll miss you, Mr. Crane.
