John McManus Obituary

John Pete McManus Jr. CHARLOTTE - John Pete McManus Jr., age 65, of Charlotte, died on January 17, 2014, at the Royal Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Matthews after a long illness. He was the beloved son of Nelda Garmon McManus, of Charlotte, and the late John Pete McManus Sr. A memorial service for John will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2:00PM at Temple Beth El, 5101 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, with Rabbi Judy Schindler officiating. Interment will be private. In addition to his mother Nelda, John is survived by his wife of 29-and-a-half years Peggy J. Williams McManus, of Charlotte. John's family would like to thank the staff of Royal Park for the special care he received and also Liberty Home Care & Hospice Services for the wonderful and compassionate care they all gave to John. Contributions in John's memory may be made to Temple Beth El, 5101 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226.
