Kim Nguyen Obituary

Kim Cuc Thi Nguyen
Mrs. Kim Cuc Thi Nguyen, 73, of Charlotte, died November 1, 2007 at her home. A funeral mass will be celebrated 2:00pm Saturday November 3 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4207 Shamrock Dr., by the Reverend Peter Pham. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
Mrs. Nguyen was born April 14, 1934, in Vietnam. She was retired from IBM Corporation and attended Our Lady of Assumption and St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ninh Gia Tran and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Kim Lan Klish, her husband Jonathan and their sons, Jonathan II and Anthony all of Charlotte; son Hung " Alphonso" G. Tran of Charlotte; daughter, Anh Vu, husband Tien and their children, Vincent, Michael and Christina of Charlotte; son Hien "Tom" Tran, wife Sandra and their children, Alexandria and Anderson of Charlotte; son Hiep "John" Tran and wife Donna and their sons, Nicolas and Alexander of West Palm Beach, FL; brother Phong Huu Nguyen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ralph Greene and his staff, Father Peter Pham, Mrs. Jo Ann T. Snider and all of her caregivers throughout the last 14 years.In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in her memory be made to the Viet Toc Foundation P.O. Box 10061 Silver Spring, MD 20914-0061; e-mail [email protected] or www.viettoc.org.
