LaShasta Jackson Obituary
Parents: David Mayfield of Ohio, Deborah Ann Coulter of Newton,. A homegoing service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at North Newton Baptist Church in Newton. Rev. Dale Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Newton. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at North Newton Baptist Church. Cousins and friends will serve as pallbearers and flowers bearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Londyn Jackson's college fund at North Carolina State Employees Credit Union at any location. Condolences may be sent to the Jackson family at www.bennettfuneralservice.com. The Jackson family is in the care of Bennett Funeral Service of Conover, 828-465-2111.

From The Coats, McMullens and Finger family. Shasta, through the years, since a child, we've watch you grow so closely as sisters with our nieces, "Shandale and Sonya." We've been by your side and today we shell remain positive and strong. We're sending our sincere condolences to the families grieving the immeasurable loss they suffered. In such moments the words would be superfluous. We are with our minds and soul along with those who were privileged to know such a beautiful and sweet mother, sister, aunt or cousin such as Shasta Coulter-Jackson. You will forever be loved!
