Linda Eskridge Obituary

Linda Elaine Eskridge
Ms. Eskridge, 67, of Charlotte, NC, died December 25, 2010, at Hunter Woods Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born October 30th, 1943 in Charlotte and graduated from Harding High School, Class of 1964. She was a member of Purcell United Methodist Church. Her life was filled with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and friends, and all the people she met, many of whom were touched by her love.
Ms. Eskridge was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Lee Eskridge; her mother, Mary Wallace Eskridge; her sisters, Marilyn D. Harper, and Ada D. Hendrick; and her brother, Philip B. Davis.
She is survived by her brother, Arthur L. Eskridge and wife, Brenda Eskridge, of Charlotte; and her sister, Sandra E. Flowers, of Belmont; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Ms. Eskridge's life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29th in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Parker officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be sent to Purcell United Methodist Church, 2141 Weyland Ave., Charlotte, NC 28208.
