Lois Lowery

Lois Ester Stafford Lowery CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Lowery, 80, passed away on April 27, 2013, at Lawyers Glen of Mint Hill, NC. Lois was born in Lincolnton, NC, on December 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Henry Stafford and Florence Catherine (Lineberger) Lowery. She retired from Celanese Corp, was a wonderful mother of four sons, and was loved by many. She is survived by her sons: Calvin of Morganton; Floyd, Roger, and Ronald (wife Carolyn Sue) Lowery of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Blanche (husband George) Booth of Harrisburg, NC; a sister, Gladys (husband Eugene) Ryals of Harrisburg, NC; and a brother, Paul Stafford of Charlotte. She is further survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elsie Benton. Lois' family has given the privilege of serving them to Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105. Friends may call upon the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 1, from noon until 1 PM. At that time, Rev. Rachel Randall will lead services honoring Lois' life.
