Charlotte, North Carolina - Lorene G. Mackey transitioned on August 8, 2022. Viewing will be Friday at the funeral home from 4 until 7 with a funeral on Saturday; 1:00 at Greater Providence Baptist Church, Charlotte. Thirty minute visitation before the service. Interment: West Creek Cemetery, Mt. Holly, NC. Gregory Funeral Service, Gastonia is servicing the family.

To the Mackey Family,
Words fall short of my expressions of love & memories of Mrs. Mackey. She and mom worked together for many years here in Virginia before she moved to Charlotte. Then when I moved to Charlotte I would wonder if I would run into her. I did a few times. All of my memories of Mrs. Mackey are full of love & admiration. I am blessed for that. I pray you all find comfort & support as you remember her. Be blessed!
