I went to Myers Park with Mark. In short he was a quick wit AND a "good dude".
Gods love and blessing to his family.

I am so saddened to see Mark's passing. His parents were my neighbors, his dad my doctor. I knew him in the 1970s as a young fine arts photographer and enjoyed many of his works. I wish often I had a print of the black and white aspens or birch trees. He truly had the Seeing Eye. We lost touch when my husband and I moved to Lake Norman although we had seen the launch of his Nascar career when we were racing cars ourselves.
I remember him meeting the racer Jim Busby and saying they were related. At our last connection he was so proud of Addy. I will not be able to attend his memorial service in body but will be there in spirit. May you all be comforted in his many well deserved achievements, he was a good man.
