Dear Dale, Matthew, Sarah, and Hannah.
I am heart-broken to hear about Mary Kate. Mary Kate and I go back a long way - all the way back to Queens College where we were sorority sisters. Your mom (wife) was a Queens scholar and a beautiful lady. We lost touch with each other in the 70's when she transferred to UNC but thankfully reconnected when she returned to Charlotte, joined my church (Christ Lutheran), and then you guys became friends with my sons at Charlotte Country Day. Thought you all would enjoy a few pictures I found of your beautiful mom in our 1976 yearbook.....
Your mom was loved by all and will be missed by many but I pray that you will find comfort knowing that God has prepared a new home for her where there will be no more death, tears, or pain.
With much love, Debbie DeLong
