MY prayers and thoughts continue to be with all the family. Maryanne was a dear and true friend. She was one of my most admired fellow students at Bishop Kenny High School. We reconnected at several of our class reunions and she even visited me when I was in Jacksonville. Her courage, humor and positivity were amazing. I have tried to help by emailing our classmates with updates about Maryanne. All of them responded saying they were praying for her. Harry, Johnny and Tate take care of yourselves now as you were all very special to Maryanne. Love, Jeanie :)

This note is from one of Maryanne's cousins. Her mom was my mom's ( Merilyn Uebel Bieler) sister. We are saddened by the loss of yet another fragile connection to Merilyn's family. Those memories are dear to us, and we are saddened to learn of Maryanne's suffering and passing. We are praying for her and sending hugs to her family and friends.

Maryanne, you were a wonderful, fun, and special friend. May God bless your soul!!!! You will be sincerely missed for your vitality, talents, but mostly for your warm and thoughtful friendship. We had much fun together at gormet dinners. God rest your soul.

My sincerest prayers and thoughts go out to Maryanne's family. I've been a close friend of her sister Debbie of Jacksonville, Fl for the last 9 years and I love her dearly. Maryanne was a sweet lady and she was very generous to me and for that I will always be grateful to her. She will be missed.

Debbie, I am very sad for the loss of your sister. I did not know Maryanne personally but feel I know her a little through the many conversations we have had about her. You loved her very much and the loss is incalculable for you. God bless you and your family.

I had Ms. Evans for Biology class at Charlotte Catholic 20 years ago. She was a caring and compassionate teacher and to this day is remembered as one of my favorite teachers. Sorry to hear of her passing and know that she touched many lives with her sparkling personality!

May God bless and receive Maryanne, whom I remember best as a devoted daughter to my beloved uncle, faithful to the last minute, and beyond; intelligent; vivacious; indefatiguable.
Maryanne herself constantly remembered her sister, Deborah Sprengling, of Jacksonville, FL, who survives her with a deep sense of loss that can only be understood by someone who shared most of those 70 years with Maryanne.
Harry will likely achieve sainthood before long. He and Maryanne rediscovered each other at a low point in her life and he saw then, as ever, only the beautiful and talented woman that he always loved, ever since high school, and he carried her into and through wonderful times, and finally across the finish line with a courage, strength and devotion that few will ever know - but Maryanne knew, and God knows, and, as is only fitting, now those who read this should know.
