Charlotte, North Carolina - Michael Jordan Efird, 61, passed away Saturday, April 6, in Charlotte, NC. Surviving are wife Teresa J. Moore, three daughters, Jordan Efird, Charlotte, Rebekah Efird, Raleigh, Alexandra Somerville (Ben), Fuquay-Varina and three grandchildren; parents Gilbert Hall Efrid Jr., Monroe, Carolyn Jordan Mobley, Concord; and brother Gilbert Hall Efird III. His half-sister Georgina Mobley preceded him in death.
A memorial service and reception will be Saturday, April 13, 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Chapel, 4921 Randolph Rd, Charlotte. Inurnment in the church columbarium later.
