To Mr. and Mrs. Evans, Tena, Tarsha and all of the nieces and nephews. My prayers go out to you. May you find some peace to take you through this troubled times. A prayer for the family:
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

To The Entire Evans Family,
I will borrow a few words from a song. When Peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When Sorrows like Sea Billows Roll; Whatever my Lot, Thou has Taught me to Say, It is Well, it is Well with my Soul.
I will keep all of you in my prayers. With Deepest Sympathy.

Uncle Sam, Aunt Daisy, Tina, Tasha & Sam Jr.
We said a Prayer for you today,
We know that our Lord heard.
And asked that he would bless you,
As He promised in his word.
We didn't ask for wealth or glory,
We knew you'd understand.
We asked for God to send you joy,
And lend a helping hand.
We asked that He surround you,
With his love and constant care,
To give you health and bless you,
With friends who will be there.
We prayed for comfort for you, and
peace of mind.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted. (Matthew: 5:4 NKJV)
We Love You,

Sam Jr. and family,
Due to the loss of Mike, I was shocked and saddened. I only met you all once when you came to California for Mr. Robinson's service. It was a pleasure to have met both of you. I just recently lost my own mother a few weeks ago in Nigeria and know the pain you and your family are suffering through. I will pray that God almighty will guide you through this tragedy. I'm here for you if you ever need to talk. In the short time I spent with Mike talking about his travels to Africa and his dreams of investing into income property...I knew he was a good person to befriend. May God Bless you and your family for your loss.
Deepest sympathy

What I will cherish most about Michael is the love he had for family, friends, and life. When I think of Michael, I am reminded of just how precious life is and that I must enjoy each God given day with passion and thrill as he did. I will miss Michael and will be forever mindful how I must continue to seize every moment to make a difference in this world.

Dearest Michael,
When I saw you a couples weeks ago in August Georgia you said to me that you sometimes got lonely for the aunts, uncles and cousins. You wanted us to visit you more often. Michael I want you to know that I began planning when I would come see you, but my planning was not fast enough. However, I still plan to come visit you, but it will have to be in heaven and we will have lots of time to visit. Until then my special nephew I will cherish the moments were able to share together and your beautiful smile.
I Love You,

To the best friend anyone could ever have. I met Mike about 2 years ago at my job. He was looking for someone to make his Mustang run a little faster. We not only build a business relationship, but he was the type of person that you could talk too, as well as listen too. He will greatly be missed, but never forgotten.

To My Man,
It was only a week ago when we shared some thoughts of old times. We laughed and we bonded. It's hard to believe that you are gone. You were always there for me and never questioned our friendship. I remember when my mother used to say that I could have plenty associates but I haven't had anything until I've had a good friend and that's what I found in you. I appreciate you for your knowlege, wisdom and understanding, but most of all your friendship. I will miss you, and will never forget you. My Man!!!!

I have so many great memories with Michael....all of them beginning or ending with his beautiful smile. Whether we were in Ft. Ord, Ca. during his Army days or in Waukegan 'turning a few corners' (as he would say) in that black-cherry Mustang that he loved so much, or in Chicago having expensive steak dinners at Ruth Chris' --we always laughed, reminisced and shared a special love that we maintained for at least 15yrs. Michael, I'll ONLY miss you until we see each other again. And then, my goal is to pick up where we left off! I LOVE YOU MICHAEL and ALWAYS WILL!!!!
To the EVANS family: You don't need me to tell you how much he loved each one of you. Yes, Michael was definitely BOLD, SELF-CONFIDENT & VOCAL -- but he was also CARING, THOUGHTFUL & PASSIONATE. Even when he wasn't in Waukegan, he protected you. Even if he was angry with you, he loved you. I pray that at this very moment our Father above is wrapping His loving arms around you and Michael to show you that He's right here and has never left. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may He continue to sustain you all.
Love Always,
Shaun Jackson & Family
