Michael Hayden Obituary
INDIAN LAND -- Mr. Michael Lee Hayden, 63 of Indian Land passed away Monday November 15, 2011. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky Mr. Hayden was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. William and Mary Newton Hayden. A memorial service for Mr. Hayden will be 11:00AM Friday November 18, 2011 at St. Matthew Catholic Church Chapel, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28277.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Community Homecare and Hospice, 119 Stone Village Dr., Fort Mill, SC 29708.
On-line condolences to the family may be made at www.palmettofh.com. The family of Mr. Hayden is being served by Palmetto Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Mill, SC.

Hi Becky,
Mark and I were deeply saddened to hear of Mike's illness and passing. Everyone loved Mike because he loved everybody. Though we haven't seen you or Mike for many years, we can still picture that amazing smile and his deep love for you. He was a great man and he will be missed. May God bless you and your family,

I am truly saddened to hear of Michael's passing. We worked together for many years. He was a prince of a guy - extremely good at what he did, plus was a really decent honorable person. An example for all of us. Small story - on 9/11 we were at a conference in California. Michael and my wife and I spent the next two days in a rental car driving back to Dallas.

One thing I have always remembered about Michael is that he always had a smile on his face and was so very kind......the most gracious man. What a legacy to leave behind. You are all in our prayers. God Bless you. Becky Hayden Sowders
