Myra Harris

Myra Wolfe Harris CHARLOTTE - Myra Harris Faulkner passed away peacefully on June 17, 2015. She was born in Asheville, North Carolina to Richard Grey Wolfe and Anna Myra (Herron) Wolfe. Myra graduated from St. Genevieve of the Pines in Asheville, NC. She then attended the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. Myra spent many years as a bookkeeper for the Junior League of Charlotte, NC. She worked as a bookkeeper for Interiors Unlimited and later was employed by the accounting firm George G. Scott. Myra was a social person and enjoyed friends of all ages. She enjoyed spending time at her second home at Wrightsville Beach and had numerous close friends there. Myra was an avid gardener, a great cook and a voracious reader. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Howell (Buck) Harris, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Alonzo Donald Faulkner. She is survived by her children Susan Harris Milkey and spouse Scott Alan Milkey of Charlotte, Myra Grey Lopeman and husband Charles Theodore Lopeman of Cora Wyoming; grandchildren Edward Harris Milkey, Carter Allen Milkey, Holden Howell Milkey, Charles Reid Schouboe, Richard Grey (Buck) Schouboe and Charles Samuel Lopeman. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 22, at Myers Park Presbyterian Church, 2501 Oxford Place, Charlotte, 28207, with visitation immediately to follow in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association for Research; Alzheimer's Association Chapter Headquarters, Western Carolina, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
