Panagiotis Tsouroudiakakis CHARLOTTE - Mr. Tsouroudiakakis, 78, of Charlotte died on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Hygeia Hospital in Athens, Greece. Panagiotis was born on November 6, 1935, in Potamida, Crete, Greece son of the late Vasilios and Kuriaki Tsouroudiakakis. Mr. Tsouroudiakakis came to Charlotte, NC in June of 1970, with his family. He was a self-employed carpenter that made many beautiful things. After retiring he enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his three grandchildren that he adored. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Tsouroudiakakis is survived by his wife, Toula; son, George Tsourou-diakakis; daughter, Sandy Vlahos and her husband, Danny and his grandchildren Taxe, Panos and Demi Vlahos; and many nieces and nephews. The Trisagion and funeral service for Mr. Tsourou-diakakis will be held on Monday June 23, 2014 at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral with Father Michael Varvarelis and Father Tommy Vlahos officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the funeral in Father "C" hall. Pallbearers will be is nephews Danny Kefalas, Angelo Kefalas, George Zaharo-poulos, John Zaharopoulos, George Stathopoulos and his godsons Andreas Statho-poulos, Gregory Giannibas and Bill Polizos.
