Patricia Bowitz Obituary
Ms. Bowitz died Friday, October 5, 2007 at her home in Charlotte. She was born in Rutherford County to the late Claude and Vivian Camp. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Dycus and wife Deanna Dycus of Denver, NC; her daughter, Wendy Proctor; and grandchildren, Morgan and Cameron Proctor of Charlotte.
Pat was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by her family. Pat will be remembered for her dedication to the welfare and rescue of animals in need.
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at St. Gabriel's. The family will receive friends until 8:30 PM following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Charlotte or The Great Dane Rescue of Charlotte.
Harry and Bryant Company is serving the Bowitz family.

Wendy & Jon,
Your mom and I have been friends since the early 70's when we first met at Jefferson Standard. She truly loved you, Morgan and Cameron and of course her animals. I will miss talking to her so much. God bless! Ima

Pat's death has saddened me so much. I had not heard from her in some time, but once we were close. My deepest sympathy goes out to Wendy and Jacob and her grandchildren of whom I know she loved so much. All of you are in my prayers.
