Paul Armstrong Obituary

Paul B. Armstrong, 81, passed away Monday, April 8, 2002 at home.
Mr. Armstrong served in the Army Air Corp in World War II in the China Burma India Theatre. He graduated from New York University School of Engineering. After 36 years with Westinghouse Electric he retired.
Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret N. Armstrong; three children, Richard S. Armstrong and wife, Sidney of Lilburn, GA, Janice Tescione and husband, Paul, of Asheville, NC and Lynne Cloninger of Powhatan, VA; his brother, Jerry Armstrong and wife, Helen, of West Palm Beach, FL; and his sister, Jane Fuchs and husband, Jack, of Great River, NY; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Armstrong was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at Sharon Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 11 AM. The Reverend John L. Alexander will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC 28210 or a charity of the donor's choosing.
Carolina Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the arrangements.

Paul was a good and faithful friend of my father's who stood by Dad through very difficult times.



I send my condolences to Paul's family and to all of his many friends.



He will be missed.
