Randy Scott Rimland
December 20, 1951 - June 1, 2021
Charlotte, North Carolina - Randy Scott Rimland, 69, passed on June 1, 2021 while under the care of Hospice at The Levine-Dickson House, Huntersville, after a long battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Melodee Fortner Rimland; his son, Rom Rimland, his daughters, Taryn Rimland-Cabot, her husband, Ted Cabot, and Dr. Casey Rimland-Cohen. M.D. Ph.D., and her husband, Aaron Cohen.
He was born December 20, 1951 to the late Sol Rimland and Susan (Rimland) Davenport, in Jacksonville, FL.,

I truly appreciate the time I got to spend with Randy. An extremely affable companion when it came to talking about photography or just life in general.

Whenever I pack my gear and head out for some field work, I think of and greatly miss Randy.

The love and respect I have for Randy will only grow with each memory
