To Cheryl and Ray, my deepest sympathies at your loss. Reid was a good man who had a hard life but just kept going. He will be missed but his days of suffering and pain are over now. I worked with Reid know him to be a brother in Christ who I know is with Jesus now. My prayers for the family are to remember the good times and know how proud of his family he was. He spoke of you often, especially once the grandchildren started coming.

To the Ledford Family,
I have great memories of Reid. I was a class mate of his in he 5th & 6th grade at Pine Wood Elem. We played little league baseball, on the same team (ESSO was the team name), he played 1st base, I played 3rd base. We went to Smith Jr Hi. together, he played football, I played basketball, his football coach nicknamed him CRAZY LEGS he never quit running. I played football in the 9th grade, the coach let me throw 1 pass, guess who caught it Reid. Reid went to South Meck, I went to Myers Park. Reid went A.S.U., I went to different college on basketball scholarship 1968. I became disabled 18mo. later, it took 2yrs to recover, I was looking for a college to transfer to, Reid came into my life again, we talked an he suggested A.S.U.. I took his advice and he helped me find an apartment in Boone, NC I graduated in 1975. He was a friend and an encourager and he will be missed. John Needy Spartanburg, SC
