Sheree, Mickey and I are sad to hear about Rick’s passing. We both have many great memories of our NASCAR trips together. Rick had a great sense of humor and we always laughed so much. I pray that God will bring you comfort through friends and family.

So sorry for the passing of a long time friend I've known from childhood to adulthood. Rick and I played baseball together from Dilworth Little League (in which Rick's dad was our coach) to Myers Park HS, to Mitchell College. Rick is top row fourth from left in photo below. To Sheree and family, may the love of friends and family comfort you through these difficult times. You are in my prayers.

We lost a great "Bob" and true friend in Ricky - Many wonderful memories on the golf course and sitting around in simple post round conversations. Ricky was genuine and always courteous to those around him.

This is a picture of Mrs. Thomas's second grade class at Dilworth. Ricky is the first boy on the left hand side sitting cross legged on the floor. I am the first girl standing on the right hand side. Ricky was so kind and nice to everyone. His childhood friends send our sympathy to his family. Sincerely, Cathy Taylor

Sheree and family. I’m so very sorry to hear of Rick’s passing what a wonderful friend. As teammates and roommates both in college and in the summers in Charlotte we had many memories I know he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed. May the Great God of creation comfort all of you.

Sheree and family, I’m very sorry to hear about Ricks passing. He was a great friend and brother. We attended Mitchell and played baseball together as well as were roommates. I lived with Rick and his family for 2 summers while at Mitchell. I know he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will sorely be missed by all of us. May the Great God of creation comfort you all. Sincerely, with Christian love ...Cary Bracken
