Lake Wylie, South Carolina - Mr. Robert Howard Hormberg, Sr., 86, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church, 2929 Selwyn Ave., Charlotte, NC with the Rev. Dr. Lori Raible officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Hormberg was born January 6, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Robert Edward and Lucy Brunke Hormberg. He was U. S. Coast Guard Veteran
Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Peggy Cates Hormberg; sons Robert Howard Hormberg, Jr. (Susan) of Germantown, TN and Bradley Edward Forrester-Hormberg (Alex) of Lake Wylie, SC; grandchildren Rachel Hormberg Bouldin (Jacob) and Andrew Hormberg; and great grandchild Henry Bouldin.
