Roger Carpenter Obituary

Roger Ervin Carpenter
WADESBORO -- Mr. Carpenter, 61, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Oney and Rev. Tommy Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends Monday, September 8, 2008 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Ervin was born in Anson County, NC October 8, 1946 a son of the late Roger Ellis and Margaret Lee Harrington Carpenter. He was the owner and operator of Carpenter's Alternator and Starter Service since 1980.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Still Carpenter of the home; his children, Jason (Jessica Hardison) Carpenter of Wadesboro, Kim Morgan of Laurinburg, Tammy Carpenter and Dallas (Jaime Harrington) Jarrell both of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Cody Sellers and Ethan Carpenter and his brothers, Ellis (Delores) Carpenter of Wadesboro and Charles Carpenter of Bennettsville, SC. His brother, Vernon Carpenter preceded him in death.
