Samuel Jeffrey Cochran "Jeff" KANNAPOLIS - Samuel Jeffrey Cochran "Jeff" of Kannapolis, 57, passed away on September 9, 2014, at Kannon Creek Assisted Living in Kannapolis. Jeff was born June 28, 1957 in Charlotte to Mack and Violet Cochran of Stanfield. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Jimmy Cochran, sister, Judy Thomas and her husband Bobby, brother, Steve Cochran, twin sister, Tina and husband Duane Peak, sister, Michelle Taylor and husband Roger and by many other loving family members and friends. Jeff graduated from Independence High School and was a veteran of the US Army. Jeff loved the Lord, his family and his friends at Kannon Creek Assisted Living and will be greatly missed. A service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held 11:00a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Wilson Grove Baptist Church, 6624 Wilgrove Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill with Rev. Rob Mariucci officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to NAMI-Charlotte, 300 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204, www.naminc.org/listings/mecklenburg. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, Charlotte. Online condolences may be made at www.wilsonfuneralservices.com.

Jeff was a cherished childhood friend I thought of often and will remember always. Even though we lost regular contact after I moved and joined the service I would drop by the old neighborhood to visit. Jeff had a deep belief in the Lord and I know that he is in his presents today. I enjoyed Jeff. He could be very sweet and thoughtful.
We use to go fishing in the late evening from time to time. Jeff was always someone worth conversing whit -- never a dull moment! MY heart goes out to Duane, Tina and Family. We can' be there in in the body but will be therein heart
